What is the time commitment for being a mentor?

Mentors are expected to participate in a two-hour session once per week over the course of our mentoring year. Consistent attendance is important for building the mentor to mentee relationship. On occasion, your lead mentor may also ask you to prepare something for a session ahead of time.

What qualities make a good mentor?

Mentors are dedicated professionals who are passionate about what they do and want to share that with the next generation of the industry’s workforce. Being an effective mentor requires enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility. Whether you have one day of experience in the A-E-C industry or decades of experience, you have something to offer our students.
