We ask that all mentors, both new and returning, join us for one session of mentor training, so we can prepare for the new mentor year together. It's a great opportunity to meet your co-mentors, learn what to expect for the 2023-2024 mentor year, understand the do's and don't's of mentoring, and discover tips and tricks for working with high school students. For those of you who missed our two sessions this year, no problem! Check out the video below, and we'll make sure to get you caught up.
ACE Mentor Program of America also provides training webinars for mentors sporadically throughout the year. Register to join any of the upcoming opportunities, or check out the ACE Mentor Tools website here to watch past webinars (requires login with username and password provided in mentor registration account under the resources section).
This virtual training is hosted by ACE Mentor Program of America. Don't miss the next training in their Building a Better Mentor Series.
Open to new and returning ACE mentors, join us for this optional training to learn about the stages of youth development as it relates to ACE high school students. Participants will learn about the physical, social, emotional and educational development of teenagers. We will also discuss tips for positive engagement, ways to support ACE youth throughout high school based on their developmental needs, and how to build developmental relationships with youth.
