Join ACE Houston for the culmination of our program year, our Student Design Competition, on Saturday March 28th! Throughout the 2025-2026 program year, our high school students have been exploring the world of sports architecture and construction, and now they're finally ready to present their project proposals helping Houston prepare to host the World Cup (learn more about this year's RFPs here). We can't wait to see what the next generation of architects, contractors, and engineers has learned this year. We'll be recognizing all of their hard work, as well as awarding scholarships to our graduating seniors. Join us for an amazing day as we wrap up our 2025-2026 program year!

COMPETITION FORMAT

This year's competition will feature a three-round format. All student team's will present in Round 1 to panels of judges, who will evaluate teams' proposals based on technical components and presentation skills using the scoring rubric provided in the RFP packet. Teams chosen by judges in Round 1 will advance to Round 2, where they will once again present their proposal to a larger panel of judges. Three finalists will be chosen from Round 2 to present in the final round and compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
